The Hallowed Song - SOL#10

My footsteps echo around the room. The candlelight illuminates the faces of the children around me. The flickering lights cast shadows on the walls. The other children open their mouths and begin a hallowed tune. I walk around the candle in the center of the room. They continue to say the song that has been sung to many. Around the candle I walk listening to the words and feeling special, for it was my birthday. I feel as though I am on top of the world and looking down at everyone else.  Nothing could bring me down today. The children continue to sing the song. When the song comes to a close I stop walking around the candle. I stand still and beam at the children around me, proud of my accomplishment.
